FC VVC is happy to announce that Seth Groen will become the new goalkeeper coach for the selection goalkeepers in the Middle School age groups starting from the 2026-2027 season.
Seth is no stranger to our club. He spent a large part of his youth training in the selection teams of FC VVC, after which he moved to AFC in Amsterdam, where he played at the highest amateur level in the Netherlands.
Later, Seth joined the FC VVC Saturday selection. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to stop playing football early. Since then, he has been using his knowledge and experience in a different way. On Sundays, Seth is active with his own goalkeeper school at our sports complex, where he guides young goalkeepers in their development.
We are very happy that Seth will be training our selection goalkeepers in the Middle School age groups from next season. With his experience and enthusiasm, we expect him to make a valuable contribution to the development of our goalkeepers.
We wish Seth the best of luck and, above all, a lot of fun in his new role.
Goalkeeper coaches wanted
In addition, we are still looking for goalkeeper coaches for other teams within our youth academy. The market for goalkeeper coaches is small, so we can use all the help we can get.
