In addition to field football, indoor football, and e-football, the KNVB has also launched a national 2-on-2 competition: the KNVB Rocket League Cup. We are proud to announce that Sven Barnhoorn (U23-1) and his teammate Sem Hellings have won the national title on behalf of FC VVC.
After an impressive run of matches, Sven and Sem qualified for the finals at the KNVB Campus, where they took on the best teams in the Netherlands.
They delivered another convincing performance there. Out of a field of more than 800 clubs and nearly 1,300 teams, Sven (Deto) and Sem (Insp1re) ultimately finished in first place and were crowned champions of the Netherlands.
This special achievement is not only a wonderful reward for Sven and Sem, but also puts FC VVC on the map nationally within this fast-growing form of football.
