On Wednesday evening, September 10, FC VVC organizes the ‘Run Your Socks Off’ rules quiz for the U11, U12, and U13 teams (including supervisors, coaches, and parents). The evening starts at 7:00 PM (gather at 6:45 PM in the canteen) and lasts until approximately 8:30 PM.
Why this Quiz?
The transition from playing on a half field to a full field is a big change for many players. With this rules quiz, we want to prepare our youth players for the new rules in a playful way. This includes topics such as offside, assistant referee flag signals, and other important rules of the game.
Not only the players participate. Parents and coaches are actively involved too. Together, we’ll make it both an educational and fun evening, ensuring everyone better understands how the game works on a full-size field.
Practical Information

- Part of the quiz: also outside on the field, for example during ‘Measure = Knowledge’
We ask the coaches of the involved teams to cancel their regular training at this time and to consider this rules quiz as part of the training program.
More than just Rules
Besides the rules, we also focus on themes like ‘No Football Without Respect’ and ‘Refereeing is Fun’. This way, we want to encourage parents to help with refereeing or being linesmen at their children’s matches.
Together we’ll make it an educational and enjoyable evening that helps our players, coaches, and parents take the step to the full-size field with confidence and enthusiasm!
