The football club where members, supporters, volunteers, and sponsors feel at home.
FC VVC was formed in 2005 from a merger of two Vennep football associations: sv S.M.S. and vv Nieuw Vennep. Our club name is also derived from this combination: Football Club Vennepse Voetbal Combinatie.
Since 2007, we have a modern complex in the Getsewoud Noord district in Nieuw-Vennep, with seven fields (including two artificial turf fields), a spacious canteen, 16 changing rooms, and a panna court.
In twenty years, we have grown from about 350 members to nearly 1,000 members. This growth is visible across all age categories, making us one of the largest sports associations in the region.
At FC VVC, it’s not just about high-level performance, but mainly about fun, relaxation, and enjoyment. We therefore find it important that all players (young and old) can play football at their own level as much as possible.
We believe that every child should be able to develop at their own level. The enjoyment of playing football always comes first. At the same time, we continuously invest in the quality of our players and trainers.
Since the 2020/2021 season, we have been working with two Heads of Youth Development (HYDs) for the lower age groups (Champions League up to U12) and middle/upper age groups (U13 to U19). These HYDs are the point of contact for our trainers. In addition, we have an internal scouting process with the HYDs and the age group coordinators. They ensure that everyone plays at their own level.
Since 2014, we have maintained a partnership with AFC Ajax. As a result, our youth teams benefit from a professional approach and we regularly play friendly matches against professional football clubs and international teams.
Our goal is for our selection teams to be consistently active at the highest amateur level, while maintaining recreational sports and enjoyment for everyone.
