It&#8217;s time for the board to update you on the most important developments within our association. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canteen Staffing<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since May, the board and canteen coordinators have been working to finalize the canteen staffing. The biggest challenge is filling the morning and afternoon shifts. We are still looking for enthusiastic people for this. Would you like to help? Please let us know!    <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">No Third Artificial Turf Field<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June, we spoke with the municipality about our application for a third artificial turf field. Unfortunately, the municipal council has decided to use the remaining funds from last year differently. So, for the time being, there will be no extra field. Of course, we will continue to look for opportunities to create more training space.   <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canteen Upgrade<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June, July and August, a number of people with a big club heart spruced up our canteen considerably. With a fresh look and new screens (made possible by sponsors), we can move forward for years to come. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Sponsors<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to have welcomed several new sponsors during the summer. Their support is extremely valuable to the club. Thank you for that!  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chairman Change<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the last meeting, Rob de Kleijn announced that he would be stepping down as chairman after eight years. Among other things, he wants to spend more time on his home in Italy. During the AGM in November, we will officially say goodbye to him. As a board, we will be looking for a suitable successor. A vacancy will be posted for this.     <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training Field Lighting<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are investigating the possibilities of making the lighting of our training fields more sustainable with subsidies. To be continued! <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finances<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The treasurer will spend the coming period drawing up the budget and the budgets for the various departments. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consumption prices in the canteen have been indexed slightly and the contributions have been (or will be soon) debited &#8211; an indexation has also taken place on this. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rabo ClubSupport and the Great Club Action<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FC VVC is participating again this year in the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcvvc.nl\/ongecategoriseerd\/rabo-clubsupport-steun-fc-vvc-met-jouw-stem\/\">Rabo ClubSupport campaign<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcvvc.nl\/ongecategoriseerd\/evenementen\/grote-clubactie-2025\/\">Great Club Action<\/a>. Two great initiatives that generate extra income for our club. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Auction at your Club<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Behind the scenes, work is currently underway on the second edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcvvc.nl\/ongecategoriseerd\/evenementen\/veiling-op-je-club-fc-vvc\/\">Auction at your club<\/a>. The date is known; mark October 10 in your diary!  <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Members Meeting<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next AGM is scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2025. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coordination of Referees<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the upcoming season, Thijs Koolhaas and Sebastiaan Schouten Smit have agreed to coordinate the referee corps.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Events Committee<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are currently investigating whether we can re-establish an events committee with new enthusiastic people, so that the organization of the various events can be guaranteed with new ideas. Please let us know!   <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Editorial Team<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the board, a working group has been set up with Tim ten Hove, Rosalie van de Maden and Resy van Rooijen to fill the editorial team for the website and social media.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an incredibly short time, they, together with one of our sponsors, have managed to set up a renewed website with a fresh look, for which our great thanks! This will allow FC VVC to move forward for the first 5 years. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Head Coach<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new season has started with a new head coach Bryan IJzerbaart. As a child of the club, he will try to get the senior selection to a higher level with his team. <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Head of Youth Training<\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the youth sector, Brent Klein will try to realize his ambitions as the new HJO (Head of Youth Training) this season, and will provide the youth with the necessary qualities where possible to allow our youth teams to take the desired steps.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We look forward with confidence to a season with lots of fun, sportsmanship and great matches!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So far.<br\/>On behalf of the Board of FC VVC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Report from the board on the period from May to August 2025.
